Chienoir is a vibrant chypre perfume, representing the essence of an English vineyard: mossy woodland, green vines, white flowers and the deep, chalky, downland terroir.

Neroli, sweet orange, bergamot, pink pepper, tobacco, juniper berry, oak moss, patchouli, opoponax-sweet myrrh, musk.

Inspiration
Black Dog Hill Vineyard nestles at the foot of rolling green hills in East Sussex, UK, where sheltered vines grow happily in true chalky soil, abundant with prehistoric sea fossils. Here the Nolan family are creating award winning sparkling wines.
Hibou - Archived

Hibou is being reformulated and will reappear in our shop this summer
Hibou, a bright orange amber, is a party perfume inspired by nights in the city somewhere still hot at midnight. A vivid vibrant opening with a mouth-watering burst of citrus, Hibou unfolds giving centre stage to the amber with a honeyed resinous vanilla and labdanum dry down.
Hibou captures the atmosphere of excited revellers dancing in the city heat: singing, laughing, spilling syrupy cocktails, sashaying under red neon lamps flickering in the deep purple skyline.

Chouette - Archived
cozy - balmy - musky
Chouette is the second in a pair of artisan perfumes each with a different interpretation of the magic of the night. Sharing notes of amber, flowers and fruit, each scent has its own personality and highlights different elements in the composition.
Chouette, a mellow floral musk, is a cozy perfume, warming and comforting. Soft and muted with just a touch of amber in the background, Chouette showcases the flowers and fruits, jammy rose, night blooming jasmine and a hint of cassis carried by resinous woods and musk.
Chouette reflects the warmth of a summer night: fireflies under a sparkling midnight sky, heady night blooming flowers, orchards nurturing luscious ripening fruits, all billowing softly on an aromatic summer breeze.

Boutique is a contemporary urban perfume, it is light, stylish and easy to wear, the scent equivalent of the perfect white shirt. It's crisp and pulled together yet also relaxed enough for those days when you just want to throw on your favourite jeans and an old t-shirt.
Inspired by a minimalist fashion boutique curating modern edgy tailoring in a neutral colour palette.

Black Dog Hill Vineyard
At the foot of the South Downs within the boundaries of the newly created South Downs National Park, Black Dog Hill Vineyard is nestled against the 830ft high Ditchling Beacon where the vines are sheltered from the extremes of the British weather and grow happily in true chalky soil, littered with prehistoric sea fossils.
The near perfect combination of geology, geography and benign maritime climate encouraged the Nolan family to plant the vineyard in 2007.
Today, working in sympathy with the landscape creating sparkling wines that can rub shoulders with the very best on the international stage.
Chienoir - Eau de Parfum
Anja Nolan, founder of the vineyard asked Bedeaux to create a fresh vibrant perfume reflecting the landscape of the vineyard.

From their London studio, Sarah McCartney and the 4160 Tuesdays team make marvellous handmade perfumes. Passionate about perfume and generous in sharing their expertise they run a range of workshops, from a delightful afternoon introduction to an intensive professional course.
